@Marty

another one for you if you can help :)

I have successfully installed Coreelec to internal memory (only) on my U1 but the IR remote doesn't respond.

I know about the remote.conf file for install on the SD card, does the same file need to go somewhere when coreelec is installed to EMMC ?

cheers

Yes you would need to copy remote.conf into the root of the partition on the eMMC that CoreELEC is installed on, where that is I have no idea :( I would need to play about but in the mean time if you manage to find dtb.img then that is where remote.conf needs to be.

Edit: I would have thought the script copies everything from the SD over to eMMC, did you have remote.conf on the SD when you installed to eMMC?

Yes, I would have thought so to, and yes remote.conf was on the SD card

but using ssh for the command
echo "meson-ir * minix_neo" > /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg

worked just fine so all sorted,

many thanks again (y):)
