I was and am a huge fan of the U1. It has played my 4K home videos for years now. Been away from the forum for a while. It seems like some old posts are gone?
I use the as-setup XBMC version player, it works fine for me.
Anyway I tried to play some 1080p 60 fps from a new gopro for the first time from my NAS connected with wired gigabit ethernet.
It would start to play each one for say 10 seconds then pause by itself for like a minute plus until it would then continue to play flawlessly.
It never does this with my 4K or other 1080p or SD footage.
Is there an explanation or setting that would help with this?
