U1, iptv playback

Good morning,
I have a minix neo u1. When trying to watch a series through my iptv provider, the picture freezes, and becomes pixelated, but the sound continues as normal. The player I use is vlc, although I have mx player too. I have tried the same series on my u9 and it works flawlessly. Settings on both boxes are the same.
Does anyone have an idea as to why? Could it be a problem, or limitation with the box itself?

need to be careful about discussing IPTV if its not a legal service.
However, it is not a limitation of the U1, more likely a network issue or configuration.
You could try using some thing like IPTV Smarters and use its inbulit player.

Thank you for the reply. I'll try resetting the box, if no joy then will get a new device.
I've had it for about 6yrs, and it's been great. Only started playing up recently, which is why I thought maybe the box has developed a fault, or is just outdated.

Yes a factory reset may be a good option to clear out the crap. Before you do that though it may we worth a try just at wiping the cache partition from the recovery menu.
