Set up pin for restricted mode, now in restricted mode, only get a short time post re boot to get to menu and enter pin. Haven’t got there in time yet. Is there a way to turn off restricted mode?

You have to options:
-One is U9-H boot with no security
-Other is U9-H boot with security (pin or password)

If you want security you have to enable in the settings

If you already entered security (pin for example) and you want to turn off you need to disable security, for that you need to enter pin (or password) again and disable (security screen lock).

I think is that what you want

Thanks, but I have no idea how to do this, after boot up I have about 5seconds to navigate to the point of entering the pin, it’s impossible to do so.
There must be another way to disable the restricted mode surely? Why would someone write a program that locks out the device with no means of disabling it with the pin?

Please try more times to boot the device with pin, try using a airmouse or similar device.

If you cant boot you have two more solutions:
-factory reset the device
-other more extreme flash firmware again.

Dont forget to backup (if you can have acess to your device)

How do I factory reset please, unable to get to pin in time with airmouse etc.
