Two suggestions:
1 - Download TWRP from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hrx5aa7hJCIdQPAvaRHpGPwB8oyEMzjg/view?usp=sharing
- Use the SD version to clear the dalvik cache and see if that helps.

2 - Revert to FW013 as I have no issues with 19.4 on the official firmware:

Thanks for the ROM. I have had the U1 for years and just decided to go look for an Android update.

Could you add the TWRP link to post #1? The existing link seems to be dead. The Minix mouse pointer link is also dead.

I have installed this ROM on Minix U1, U1 working fine.

I tried to install 64bit Kodi 19.4, no joy, message 'x App not installed'.
Installed Kodi 19.4 32bit, installed okay. But whenever I run it, immediately crashes with message in screenshot below, every time I start it.
Any ideas what I could try?

The MINIX U1 doesn't have a true 64Bit processor and therefore all 64Bit versions of any app be it Kodi or anything else, will not install.

Install the 32Bit version.

I guess this box and ROM are too old to get support/suggestions now

What version of Kodi did you have installed before? Moving from one major release to another, could be incompatible and you may have to clear data/cache of Kodi and start to setup Kodi from scratch. It's also a good idea to keep it on the local storage only Don't allow split installation on device/SD card. Keep it simple.

Thanks for the great ROM. After unsuccessful attempts with Windows 10 & USB Burning Tool through my motherboard USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 ports I managed to enable my PC to recognise and reflash my U1's by using a powered UGreen USB 3.0 Multifunction HUB through these USB Ports.

I tried to install the Marshmallow firmware today but when I plugged in the usb into the laptop the Burning tool would not recognize the Minix U1 even after I held the power button for 6 seconds? the U1 does not have a pin hole recover button.

What steps am I missing to able to install this firmware? any help would be appreciated
