well i have my U1 running on android 5.1.1 FW013 with no problems with 1080p x265 mkv files on kodi 17.6
 
Need to install minix pointer patch through twrp, but when I power the box and press the power button(10 seconds long), i only get a freeze image of the initial android figure and not the recovery menu.
Anyone getting problems in accessing recovery menu, after the ROM installation?
I also can´t get no sound, despite all the configurations are correct.

Hi. For those still having trouble with scrolling web Pages on browsers, This worked for me: uninstall updates and deactivate ANDROID SYSTEM WEB VIEW APP.

Hi I went into the settings and unistalled the updates for Android System Web view App. Then I went disabled this. Went into both Google Chrome and Kiwi browser and could not scroll on the browser up and down had to use the arrow keys on the Minix A2 remote

Did you uninstall the Chrome updates?
You need to uninstall them and I don't think it is necessary to disable System Webview.

Nope did not uninstall any updates from either browser. Will try that but will it be always like that and dont allow play store to update them going forward?

Appears so! :(

I've stuck with an older version of Chrome for ages. It has other issues but not as annoying as the swiping issue.
When I have used the latest version I don't see a reason to update anyway.
I suppose we stick with a version that works for us until we can't! ;)
 
I installed as BBC Iplayer would not download programs to view offline. Following this upgrade and it still won't :confused:
 
hello, I followed the steps of the .pdf but my minix u1 does not leave image on the TV, the process finished correctly .. what can I do?

Thanks for answering, that is. you don't see anything .. only black screen... try to flash stock firmware ... and the same thing .. something am i doing wrong? use a normal micro usb cable to make the flash, otherwise I think I followed the steps well

Does the firmware flash? All the way to 100% The burning too displays a complete msg?

I'll look for it later ... the process goes from 0% to 100% it takes almost 2 minutes, and says something like finished correctly, doesn't it? and then stop ... I disconnect everything, restart and nothing ...
