updates for Minix U9H

Hi,
The subject that brings me here is my excellent Minix U9H....
updates for this box Minix doesn't make anymore... maybe because they built newer ones...
at one point someone said around here (unless I'm wrong) that it couldn't be upgraded to android 8 and even 9 anymore, because of SOC s912..... but in fact there are boxes with some time and even cheaper that are running the pure android 9 and even android tv 9! for example: Ugoos AM3; Mecool BB2 and Pro; YokaTV KB2 Pro; X98Pro; Tanix TX9S, etc... I have a tronsmart vega s96 box running android 9!!
can't the Minix team make it?

Minix are limited in what Amlogic provide with regards to firmware and as far as I know there has only been one Android version upgrade provided by Amlogic and that was for the X8-H Plus from Kitkat to Lollipop. Unfortunately Amlogic were not so forthcoming with the U9 firmware
