Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading from my Sony Bravia Android TV to a T5 as I've read good things about it. Its price point makes it attractive and I'm just wondering if I will see a significant difference between the 2. Thankyou

Difficult to tell, my gut feeling would be the T5 as probably more versatile.
I have a T5 and very pleased with it and works exceptionally well with the apps i have installed on it, namely Kodi and IPTV.

Thanks for that. I will be installing emby and iptv (primarily tivimate).

I'm picking the gigabit internet port versus 100mbps of the telly would make a big difference as we have giga fibre. Also the memory and processing power of the T5 must be better than the tv.

T5 it is a good device and for me it works great (and personally i adore ?)

If you want minix top of the line (android) you have U22-XJ .

Note:
T5 has android tv and U22-XJ has standard android.
I had a look af the U22 but for what I need I thought the price was a bit steep. I've only needed a handful of apps that are all available on android tv. In terms of picture quality and compatibility, is there any difference between standard android OS and android tv in terms when displayed on a tv?
