hello,

my usb storage is "corrupted" on my u9h but not on my pc.
it worked well. then overnight, my hard drive is detected as being corrupted by my u9h. it still works without problems on my pc. I have already done chkdsk on my disk but no error. can you offer me a solution other than formatting, as requested by the android system.

Can you copy all data in a PC and format the key on Android, then restore the data ?

Unfortunately, I have no space to copy all my data to another hard drive.


But I finally found a solution. I explain it to you.

I used this procedure (without root) to simply use an ntfs disk on an android not compatible with this format: http://techpp.com/2015/06/25/how-to-enable-ntfs-support-on-android-with-without-root/
It's about using total commander and a plugin for ntfs.

Then I ejected my hdd, and reconnected without going through the total command plugin and my hdd was kind enough to connect back to my u9h. It was detected as a new device while before it was detected as a known device and was corrupted.

I did not understand why it works but it works. If you has an explanation?

So maybe a bad plugin...
Is ES explorer able to explore your NTFS drive ?
