Hi all,
I'm new around here, and so I'm still familiarizing myself to MINIX.
I'm looking to purchase an Android TV "streamer" (or media center, sorry if I got the terminology wrong), which I could leave for it to handle itself by:
1. Have a Chrome browser running on it constantly, and displaying it to the monitor it is connected to (in full screen).
2. In case of a power shortage - once the power is back on, I'd like the machine to boot the Chrome on startup and load the page of my choosing.
3. Should it be possible to leave the Neo T5 running 24/7?
I've heard of Kiosk apps, which allow only the app of my choosing to run (or at least be the only app accessible for use). But when it comes to compatibility, I understand that although an app "supports Android 9 and above", there are some variations of Android that could prevent me from installing some apps.
My point is, does anyone here have any experience with using a Kiosk app on the Neo T5? Can you recommend another way for me to have Chrome running constantly on the system, even after a power shortage?
Thank you all,
Ilan
