Hello everyone just thought I would give my 2 cents on the update to Ver 6 and MCU to version 4.
Updated 2 boxes, with NO ISSUES. The wireless works great, the hardwired works great. Samba works no problems, but just a reminder people turn on your samba in windows 10 by
I like to open explorer on the windows box and at the top directory url box clear all text and type
\\192.168.0.112
this the IP of the Minix box you looked at and voila explorer opens it up, now you can map a letter to it.
The sound issues I found in my Kodi and IPTV TiviMate went away as soon as I MANUALLY TURNED ON all sound formats.
MCU Update to Ver4 NO ISSUES.
No issues from my linux boxes so far but im sure there might be glitches, to be expected...hey welcome to networking people im sure everyone has a router or modem that needs rebooting from time to time!!
Thats my 2 cents happy MINIXing......
Thanks to the developers as they work hard to try and get us a great product with updates , and YES there are a MILLION things that can be incompatible, but they try hard to fix it.
PS: I try NOT to mess with the box too much, lolol its fantastic right outa da box. Cheers
