Hi,

Somebody asked about this problem before but it was not resolved. When I am watching videos on a browser and put it on full screen, 3/4 of the screen is green and the video stops.

I am running the latest firmware for U9-H and have tried factory resetting the device.

Hello give some other details please:
-Are you using official firmware (marshmallow) or beta firmware (nougat)?
-Did you try on a PC or other older firmware?
-Did you use chrome?
-did you try other browser?

I found the thread for this. It was Jin666's post. I messaged him and he said the problem is still there for his device.

I downloaded the latest Chrome version , V73.0.3683.90, and installed on the NEO U9-H.
The first time to do a "Full screen" operation in Chrome when watching a YouTube video, the "Green Problem" persist.
After that, all is well. That means even if I lick the "Full screen" button, the "Green Problem" disappears.

Then I installed Firefox V66.0.2, and I don't find this problem.

The firmware version of my NEO U9-H is "U9-H FW008 20180209".

I have the green screen on chrome only. I use adblock browser and can stream full screen with out the green screen. The issue is with chrome.

I am still having this issue after installing latest chrome? Opera and Firefox also gives me same results with green screen. Does anyone have any advice to fix?

It's absurd that Strimmer is not cheap and there's no solution. Are you working at the company on an update to fix it ??
This is very damaging to the enjoyment of the product

From some updates ago Chrome quit on allowing users to see the desktop version of YouTube site in the U9. From my testing this occurrence interfered also with the way the videos are displayed in the mobile version, which is what we get, and caused the green issue to start happening. I would say this is a Marshmallow thing as U1 and Lollipop and KitKat devices don't seem to suffer this effect.

This also has another consequence that, since you can't watch the desktop version of the site, you also can't choose the 2k and 4k definitions which are not available for the mobile version of the site.

As Minix - Martin mentioned above, the first video in the openning session is the one affected with the Green Screen issue, so if you reopen the first video in the session it will work well and so will all the next videos to follow in that same session, with the updated Chrome version.

Because for me it was important to watch the very high Def videos in YouTube site, and since Chrome doesn't allow us to watch the videos once you open the desktop version of the site anymore, my workaround was to bring back Chrome to the factory version of the U9 which allows all functions and desktop YouTube site, and use last version of Firefox to watch everything as needed, should you need a last version of a browser for it, or the factory Chrome version which works fine with everything, as Orca058 suggested above.

chrome also has the problem that if you update it to the latest version it will not allow you to copy paste ... so you have to stay with the factory version ... but I would like to remind you that we are at 2019

If you mean to copy paste the address bar, the new Chrome has a function that when you click the address bar it has an edit icon (a small pen icon) that allows to edit the address, there you can copy and then paste, right?

About you reminding me the year we are, thanks, I am so old that was of good use! Still, I was made in 1961 and expect to be capable to perform most of the tasks new kids perform nowadays, I might fail some, but my upgrades and updates were very minor so far. (Read what I wrote about using latest Firefox, you won't ever achieve full software compatibility in any machine to the past or to the future.)

ops excuse me .. I did not understand ... for 2019 I did not mean you ... but the chrome bug that is still there ....in the end, after two years each of us would expect the machine to be almost perfect .... :)

No punn taken! ;)
But the machine is perfect, it is the software that we throw at it that is creating the problems, and sometimes it will be hard to go after a solution when we can't change the bones in the hardware, that is what I meant, and so we have to go for what is possible and be realistic about it.

Okay fellas I got good news! Ad block browser in google store works amazing with full screen. Goes full screen without the green screen... ever!!!
