webcam's microphone not working

I have a few webcams, of HP and Logitech, with built in microphones. All of them work perfectly on Windows. But when connecting to the minix, the webcam sends only video. No audio.
Seems like the minix doesnt recognize the microphone at all. Same issue on all webcams that I have.
Does anyone have any solution please ?

Have you updated to 006AFW and tried? There was an issue on 006FW with regards to USB audio, 006AFW was released to address this.

One would assume @Marty has already identified your particular issue if you hadn't yet updated to FW006A, however.
