Originally, I had about 11 GB free space after w10 + about 1 GB of apps and software.
Now, since about a year that free space has shrunk to 6GB, and none of the tricks that used to work gets me any more free space.
I tried running WinDirStat and SpaceSniffer, and WinDirStat finds no more than 15.2GB of data on C:, while spacesniffer finds 16.4GB.
Add 6GB free to that and there seems to be possibly up to 27.5GB - (16.4 + 6)GB = 5.1GB missing?
What gives? Spare blocks for bad block reassigns?? Bugs actually eating SSD cells??? Covid19 madness on my part????

I've moved the User special folders, Download and Desktop and so forth, to new locations on a USB3 stick. Can that be done for system files, like WinSxS, too?
