Will there be any NEO U1 updates?

Any idea if there is any plan on updating the firmware for NEO U1? I am still stuck at Android 5 and some newer apps are no longer supported.
If there is no plan to update this, I am considering getting a fire stick.
 
We are no longer providing firmware updates for MINIX NEO U1.
NEo U1 shall remain on Android Lollipop OS.

A couple of years ago I bought one of their devices, the MINIX NEO U1, and the device is quite good, the problem is that they never released an update and it is a device that is not obsolete.
I find it embarrassing that they don't release new updated official ROOMS to make the apps compatible.

DO NOT BUY AGAIN ANY PRODUCT OF YOURS for the price they have is not worth it.
I prefer to invest in XIAOMI hardware that at least updates its products

13 updates in the life span of the U1 is pretty decent in my opinion. But hey you can't please all of the people all of the time, we wish you good luck on your journey with XIAOMI and please stay safe out there.

Oh and like it's been mentioned a million times before, Minix is at the mercy of Amlogic so direct your embarrasment towards them rather.
