X7-216BN - How to reinstall entire OS

I have a few X7-216BN that were part of a Digital Signage project, and now I want to just erase them and leave them with Android OS. I tried with one to just upload and img file but I seemed to brick it, so before I try the other ones, I was hoping for some guidence.

How was your problem solved? Did you find a solution? I am in exactly the same spot as you. I bricked 12(twelve) X7-216BN so far.
 
I managed to install NeoX7_4.2.2_Finless_19 on them. No luck with x7-rk3188-250 or wasser-3.0.6-minix-x7-rk3188 so far. Thanks for your suggestion, but I was looking for a "fast" solution :)
