Hi Guys,

I've upgraded my minix x 8h plus and now there is no network even wired isn't working.

Bluetooth works fine but wireless and wired connections are not working.

Steps I've taken so far.

1.full factory reset.
2. Flashed firmware with finless and rc2 lollipop versions.
3. Flashed stock 4.2.2 kitkat firmware.
4. Kept the device unplugged for a couple of hours connect just power and hdmi cable still no wifi, connect wired no network.

Not sure if there is a driver's issue that the update did not installed the network drivers?

Hello Marty,

Thanks for your reply and help.
Tried the suggested steps but without any success for some odd reason it simply is not able to use a wired connection nor wifi while Blue-tooth is working fine.
I verified that it is a Minix Neo X8-H Plus.

I have experienced this odd phenomenon myself on my X8-H Plus's but cannot recollect what I did myself in the end to rectify the situation.

I assume you had the same issue when flashing the KitKat firmware mentioned above in point 3, so a shot in the dark here, could you please try the SD Card method with the following stock firmware (KitKat), kudos to finless, have a read here

If you can't download from the link above here is a backup

It's an old firmware so don't be too shocked on first boot ;) If you manage to get a connection on either WiFi or ethernet after installing this stock ROM then try to flash the Lollipop ROM again via USB Burning Tool, this time however select "Force erase all" under "Erase Flash":

If all of the above fail then we take this to PM to try the last trick up my sleeve......

Hi Marty,

Thanks for the steps, but unfornationaly still no WiFi or Ethernet tried both methods even tried he card burn to make sure it wasn't my usb cable but so far no luck.
