X8-H Plus tmdb and tvdb scraper error

Hi everyone. Since Feb 2020, TV ratings from imdb or tvdb stopped scraping. A few weeks ago I noticed some episode names weren't scraping properly either. I just updated to metadata.tvdb.com-2.1.5 and I think it's worse.

I removed all Seinfeld episodes as a test, restarted XBMC, then updated the library. The ratings did not scrape, the show title for Seinfeld is blank, and many episode names are messed up. For example:

Seinfeld S02E01 episode should be named: The Ex-Girlfriend
But now scrapes as: The Ex-Girlfriend","filename":"episodes/79169/304065.jpg

I get the same results on my other Minix box. This weekend I will try rebuilding my entire TV library on a fresh install (Android & XBMC). Anyone else have this issue, or know a fix?

I'm running FW011 (Android 4.2.2 & XBMC 16.3) on both my NEO X8-H Pluses.

Your description matches what happened when the tvdb addon broke, check it actually updated. If so try performing a refresh on the show. Then move show folder elsewhere, remove show from library, clean library, move show folder back and rescan.

If not post debug log of scraping.
 
There's an update to the tvdb addon that came out today metadata.tvdb.com-2.1.7.zip , changelog matches exactly your episode name issue.

Ratings have been buggy on tvdb site for a long time, if you go into the scraper settings source>change content>scraper setting (or something like that) you can change the rating source from the default tvdb to imdb. After changing you'll need to refresh your show data.
