YouTube app changes how video is displayed.

I have a NEO U22-XJ, and like it very much. But when I go to YouTube and press on a video (looks portrait not landscape) it changes to a tiny square in playback. Not all the time, if I exit and clear my buffers and restart YouTube, go to history, and replay that same video it does not change to the square but stays in portrait display. This drives me nuts as I can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the suggestion and the link.

I've tried SmartTube (suggested by the link) it works like an Android TV app, and I'm running my box as a straight Android (hate the TV version).
