To get to the last video you were playing you must press the button that gets you to the list of the open apps, the several cascading app windows, and retrieve the YouTube session from there. If you start the YouTube app from the YouTube icon at the launcher you lose the last session and start from the main YouTube suggestions page. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer. Where is the button that gets you to the list of the open apps? I didnt have Neo A2 or A3 remote control, only the standard.

I managed to trace my standard control to find I can't get to the mentioned list with it. Long pressing the button below the home button (the button with two boxed stripes) brings up/down the hidden bar with functions in the lower side of the screen. In there you would reach the mentioned list of open apps if you could select the square icon.

The A2 for instance has a button to perform that action without going through that hidden bar, but I can't find a solution with the stock remote.

However if you connect a simple mouse to the Minix you will be able to slide the bar up (by keeping the left button of the mouse pressed and pulling the mouse arrow from the very limit of the screen up), or using the long press in the button I mentioned above of the stock remote, and then you can move the mouse arrow to the square icon and select it to get to the open apps cascade list.

I installed Cetusplay remote in an Android phone and Cetusplay receiver in the Minix but the functions I got working were the same as for the stock remote, however with this app you get those functions through WiFi instead of RF. For mouse mode there is a video on YouTube to help you set it through but it seems to concern Android TV boxes not pure Android devices as the U1. It could be that with some insistent fiddling we could find a way to make it work but it looks like we have to grant some permissions on the receiver (the U1) which didn't seem to me very clear as the menus showed in the video really seem to concern TV or Android TV settings, which I was not willing to try for time consuming. Connecting a real mouse is so much easier and works so great. But I do have an A2 Light which has the extra advantage of the keyboard to write all this. So I am sorry for not having found if Cetusplay would work, maybe someone else tried and might help you should you reconsider to take that path any further.

Thanks for the kind words.
