Youtube HD @ 2160

Shouldn't I be able to get 2160P from Youtube on this box? Youtube doesn't show it only 1080P

I believe It's the youtube app that decides the resolution. Nothing you can do about it

In most YouTube Android apps you can chose up to 1080p maximum res. As @JJ-KwiK mentioned Smart YouTube TV is really an option to try. One of the few that really does it.

Yet there is another workaround. In a web browser you can go to Youtube.com, and then chose the 2160p setting. you can force the browser to open the pc version of the YouTube website in the browser settings in the U9-H, instead of the mobile version that opens by default.

In the pc version of the YouTube website you can force 4k as that option will be available for the 4K videos.

EDITED: The mobile version of the website now allows 4k setting. It didn't in the past.
