I doubt it very much as I also have IPTV on U1 and no real issues with buffering unless its the source.I am having a buffering problem with my IPTV. I have a U1 also doing the same. If i use my Laptop to run the IPTV direct i do not have the problem. I wonder if the Minix boxes are reaching the limit of speed or memory to cause the buffering. Computer 2.5 Ghz.
Hi.Looks like it is a buffer problem, do you know of a way to increase buffer size on the Minix boxes? As far as apps i have tried Perfect Player , Iptv Smarters and Xtream Player. These are all OK using Computer.
check my previous post and :Both are ethernet. As i said computer is fine using IPTV Smarters but the U-9 buffers at about 10minute intervals as though it cannot keep up. The other thing is that although the source and app are the same, the Minix is about 10secs behind the computer.
Can you confirm you tried the following:I am going to try a NVIDIA Shield to see if it overcomes problem, will come back after i use it.
In Perfect Player - Settings/Playback/Buffer size I have mine set to 4 and experience zero buffering issues.
Yes i have tried all settings available, i think it is the processor not being fast enough for IPTV streaming, OK for movies streamed. Can you confirm you tried the following:
I have to disagree, you have had issues with movie streaming too so this can't be the reason, I have an X8-H Plus that streams IPTV just fine and this is a lower spec processor than the U1 or U9:Yes i have tried all settings available, i think it is the processor not being fast enough for IPTV streaming, OK for movies streamed.
I find that when streaming all is great, then after watching several episodes of a serial it starts stopping about half way through an episode. Is it possible that the box gets full and needs clearing out somehow? Is there an App that will do this?
Will remove from box? Let you know result, thanks.I have to disagree, you have had issues with movie streaming too so this can't be the reason, I have an X8-H Plus that streams IPTV just fine and this is a lower spec processor than the U1 or U9:
I suspect you have an app that is interfering with your streaming, do you have ES File Explorer installed on both boxes by any chance? This has been known to cause issues, if so I would suggest uninstalling ES File Explorer and having a test to see if the issue is resolved.
Don't forget to reboot after uninstalling. Will remove from box? Let you know result, thanks.
I also have to disagree however i use netflix...I am going to try a NVIDIA Shield to see if it overcomes problem, will come back after i use it.
I think you should improve your internet connection.40 Mbs
