Hi,
I have some N42C running Xubuntu 18.04.
Recently, I was trying to connect them with active mDP to HDMI adapters (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00PJ3LSIG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - active adapter as recommended in this forum) to several 4K displays (TVs, Dell TFTs, ...).
Sadly, I can only get 4K@30Hz via this connection. According to the spec of the N42C, 4K@60Hz should be possible via the mDP port?
I even tried a direct mDP to DP calbe, but this is also 4K@30Hz.
I didn't test this under Windows 10 as we need Linux for our use-cases.
Does anyone has an idea what is going on? Maybe @linuxium has an idea or insights?
Thansk in advance,
rzo1
