Hi
When I press the mic button, google's voice input pops up but it doesnt recognize any sound.
Also on the A3 remote, the mic led doesn't lights up.
Also I can't find any setting for voice input device. In u9-h there was such setting. Where is it in u22-xj?
Thanks

Update: after couple days it stopped working. Mic led doesn't lights up again.
Not sure that the issue was/is caused by incorrect pairing.
The remote works perfectly fine. Only mic doesn't work.

If it looses pairing, why the rest of functions works? Why only mic doesn't?
Re-pairing each time I turn on the box is real pain. It doesn't make any sense.

Try clearing the cache and/or data of the main Google app, see if that makes a difference.

Have you tried another app that supports voice input/command/searching other than the Google app? (Same mic issues with other apps too or does the mic behave as expected?)

I have tried Easy Voice Recorder Pro, quite a good app I purchased some time ago for my cellphone.
I tried different settings and gave all permissions - no soud from mic and mic led didn't light up.
I personally prefer shutting down my box when not needed. So re-pairing the remote every day is not an option.

OK. Even if you shut your device down multiple times per day it still shouldn't be repeatedly losing its pairing like that.

What happens if you put the U22 to sleep instead of a full shut down? Same thing or does it hold the pairing?

The other thing it would be a good idea to try next (despite it being a pain in the backside), is factory resetting your U22. It's not unknown (although not exactly common either) for software/drivers/apps to suffer some kind of corruption that can affect the normal function of an A2 Lite/A3 remote.

If the factory reset fails as well, based on the recurrent issues you're experiencing & if the A3 is still within its warranty period obviously you could also consider a return/exchange as this isn't normal behaviour. I use several A3's & whilst I've had a couple of problems with them over the years including my first one requiring an exchange due to a fault out of the box too, every other problem I've come across has been relatively easy to resolve & none have been persistent. They're a very popular device & ultimately they don't receive a lot of negative feedback on the forums, just the odd one here or there.

I'll try factory reset when get time.
Nonetheless, the box works. I think I can get along with some little imperfectnesses.
Thanks anyways.
