All apps gone after firmware update - T5

Firmware update should only do the update with the System, but very strange on Minix Neo T5, all installed apps gone after the update just like doing factore reset. This happened 2 times when updating firmware 9.13.14 and 9.13.15.

Can anybody help to inform Minix developer not to clear all the installed apps when update?

Are the apps in question ones you have sideloaded? There is a bug in ATV where some sideloaded apps appear as system apps, this could explain why the apps disappear after an update, only a theory for now......

Please let me know the serial numbers of your NEO T5 units.
A full factory reset [wiping content] should only occur if you have units from the very first production batch running the first firmware version (pre-official release).
