Android 6 vs 7 (Nougat)

Does Android 7 actually perform tasks faster (opening apps, dealing with crunching dat, etc.) than Marshmallow for our Minix boxes? Also, does anybody know if it consumes more RAM than android 6?

I’m just pondering if the upgrade has real value for these boxes since I’ve tried finding multiple sources of unbiased performance information but it seems they just like talking about new features (which don’t apply to these boxes)...

I tried it. It was an early release, 7.0.?. I had a lot of playback issues, so I ended up going back to 6 (FW008). Everything is pretty stable under FW008.
