Android Cleaner.

I have SDMaid Pro installed, but since FW006A update, it has developed an issue with App cleaner. It will not delete the files and greys out my screen with the android robot in the middle.

I have contacted the dev with images.

But, in the meantime does anybody have a tried and trusted cleaner for the minix U22. Oh! ..meant to add, I am using the Nova launcher and not the minix launcher with built in cleaner. Hence SD maid and not minix cleaner. I read somewhere on this forum that these cleaners were not recommended by some members. Happy to take any advice on this matter.

If this is in fact a bug under FW006 release, I am sure that one of the mods will move it to the Bugtracker.

Many thanks, will check it out. Just tested sd maid on my phone and tablet and it works fine. Maybe it is a bug after all on the minix u22 after the latest update..
 
Apart from Johno 100's reply, does anybody else have an app that I could try. Thank you johno 100 for your help, but that one just did not work for me.
 
It opened, but was invaded by adverts. And one of the screens showing apps, would not let me scroll down to see all the apps involved. Therefore, I did not want to click on boost or clean.
And, it kept notifying that app has stopped.

If you go to "advance clean" apps> it requires special permissions which are not acceptable to me eg: usage of everything i interact with when I use my phone!


What I really want from a cleaner, is, clear cache,find duplicates, corpse finder, system cleaner and app cleaner, with a viewable option to take action or not.

Thank you Villa. I was running 5.0.7 PRO, which I purchased from play store. Just checked and no 5.0.8 update on there. So, found it on the net under an apk store and downloaded it, which updated my app.

If you go to the Sd menu and click on "app cleaner" and scan, it produces image 2 which takes almost 10 minutes to scan. Is that normal? On my phone, it takes less than a minute.

When it is finished scanning, it produces image 1.
