Audio Video out of sync problem with AAC

Hello All,

I have some problems with audio and video.
The audio is sometimes sluggish and does not sync with the video.
Also the pitch of the audio is not constant.
I think the problem is mainly noticeable with AAC format.
I can fix the issue by turning off the hardware acceleration, but then the H264 (or H265) files give problems

So how to fix it?
reciever: yahama rx-v1067
player: minix neo u9
Kodi 18 - leia
and a hd tv/beamer Panasonic PT-AT6000E
all connected with hdmi

it works ok with kodi 18 on the smart tv and when i play the file on vlc on the pc

So i think its a problem with the android??? i don't know anymore please help

Some extra info
now having android 6 on the minix
it does not seem that turning off the hardware accelaration fixes it completely.
Could it be a codex problem?

Some extra extra info,
The problem occurs with clips downloaded from youtube a long time ago....
and old movies (from beyond)

Yeah, I have the same problem with my U9.

Seems that most older videos are out of sync. Nearly all .avi with variable bitrates.

Most newer releases .x264 are okay.

The same video worked perfectly (were in sync) on my X7, but out of sync on the U9.

Thanx For the info. I installed the android 7 (beta) firmware and this fixed the problem for me.
But i still have some very minor issues with the beta 7.0...so maybe when i have some spare time i will try SPMC..or wait for an official android 7 release

I used to have similar sync problems. I solved it by switching from android to CoreElec, which is Linux based. You can run CoreElec from an SD card to give it a try. See the CoreElec thread (under U9-H custom ROMs) for details.

With android I had so many playback issues, not just audio, but video too. With CoreElec (now 9.0.1) I have virtually zero issues.
