Price is irrelevant when it comes to root, Minix do not supply rooted devices.
They are working on "autoframerate" to be added in a future firmware update.
Is this application okay for auroframerate?

A little above those lines you have the info that the Quadcore Arm A73 processor go at 1.7Ghz, and the Dualcore Arm A53 go up to 1.8, that might give you a better idea than a picture of the readings under low demand. Here you have a picture of how it looks, and note that it stands the stress without crashing.

Clearly not for you then, it's a free world buddy, do your homework and choose something that does suit your needs. For me the U22 knocks the socks off the comptition when it comes to YouTube UHD HDR, more than can be said for a certain box that sooo many members like to compare Minix boxes with, they don't even support YouTube HDR.

I always try to see the performance of a device in the real world rather than focusing on numbers. I have a MINIX U1 for a couple of years now and have been running it for about 10-12 hours a day. But so far this device has not encountered a problem even once. This device has never been hot and has not been reset or turned off. I look forward to purchasing the U22 as soon as possible.

you have already been advised you will not get root
i know they are aware of "autoframe rate "and are working on its implementation
there are bigger issues at the moment facing the world, use a little patience

Auto frame rate feature will be implemented in future firmware update. Minix team is actively working on it.

what is it that you cant possibly understand that "autoframerate" is not yet working on the minix u22, and will be hopefully implemented in a future firmware upgrade

Dear MINIX. Please tell us what to expect in the new, real firmware? Why are you making a secret out of it? I bought your U22, relying on quality. As a result, the release did not live up to my expectations. And you just keep quiet, not announcing the benefits of your U22. Any manufacturer is primarily concerned about advertising their product.
