Booting from USB

Good Afternoon, can anyone on here tell me if it is possible to install ubuntu linux on the Minix neo J504-C Plus via ISO image on bootable USB? I have BIOS version 0.24 07/27/2021 installed on the Minix. I do not seem to be able to access the USB drive as a boot option from F11 boot menu. USB bootable drive was created from Rufus with Ubuntu ISO. Any help appreciated

So you're saying the USB drive does not show up?!

I have no issue with seeing a USB drive, created with Rufus (leaving Partition scheme as MBR and File system as FAT32 and writing as ISO image), when pressing F11.
 
Good Afternoon - thanks for your input, I think the issue is with the USB drive I have created
The official one from ubuntu seems to work.....
