I got the u9-h because it had separate audio and video output so I could listen to Google music with the TV off through my stereo. Every time I turn the TV off Google music stops. I'll turn the TV back on and sure enough it's paused. I have cec turned off on both the box and my TV, it's still happening. Any ideas?
Cannot listen to music via optical with TV off.

We never find a perfect solution for this issue.
Some TVs have a "No picture" feature which let the music be played without something shown.

I have this issue too. Funny, I don't remember it being a problem on my U1. Nevermind, I'm content with the screensaver.

Whilst i dont use any music apps if i play a movie with kodi the sound continues to play through my AVR which is connected via spdif if i turn the TV off.
