Can't seem to get video output from anything other than HDMI port

I am hooking up this PC running Windows 11 to a Samsung TV. HDMI to HDMI works fine. If I try to use the same cable with a USB-C to HDMI adapter (Anker), I get nothing. I also tried a mini-DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI adapter with the same cable, and again, I get nothing.

At first, I was trying to use the HDMI with another port for a 2nd monitor but for troubleshooting, I'm trying one port at a time.

I've already updated to the latest Intel UHD Graphics drivers, but that didn't make a difference.

Any ideas what I need to do?

Are you powering off when trying the different connections? Hot swap isn't supported.

Note:
The integrated USB-C port only supports video output, not audio output. An active adapter is required to convert Mini DisplayPort output to HDMI/DVI output.

If your Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter is passive then this will explain why!

As for the USB-C to HDMI, try connecting before powering on the device or restart the device.

I've never had any issue using USB-C to HDMI. (y)
