hello everyone ... little is missing on arrival of my u22 .. and I would like some clarifications .... settings sdr to hdr .... or hdr to sdr ... what they are .. how to use them considering that I have a samsung 65q70r ... I would like more details about it .... thanks

I have the same TV, under Display I have HDR to SDR set to Auto, SDR to HDR set to Off and under Screen resolution I have Auto switch to best resolution set to On and Dolby vision enable, this setup gives me the best picture.
 
Thanks for the answer .... We have an excellent smart TV .... But you have not freed my confusion ... In detail what do these two settings do? Thanks for the answers and for the patience .....
 
Short version, these allow you to control how High Dynamic Range and Standard Dynamic Range output is displayed on your TV. For example, if you left SDR to HDR on and played an SDR video then you would more than likely see very noticeable washed out colours being displayed on your TV, switch this to off and the normal colour range will be displayed.

Long version, its too long, please take some time to do some research into HDR and SDR.

HDR to SDR auto - Whis this option enable HDR content (if available) will load with the best quality
SDR to HDR OFF - Whis this option enable default content is always SDR

I have also this settings and it works very well.

Already done but no article has actually clarified my doubts ... I'm not technological ... And for certain gaps I ask for help ... Thanks friends
 
Trusted assistant ... My problem is not knowing whether or not sdr or hdr ... But the settings of the minix u22 in the settings sdr to hdr ... Or hdr to sdr ... What they actually do ... What improvements. ... Thanks again as an average intellectual boy
