Thanks Dave, it was a typo (now)Laurent
I think the issue is that following your instructions there is nothing that mentions "Download the (noxw) right file. "

Try with Win32diskimager, it's easier : https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/The two files has been downloaded.
Do I unzip or not the CoreELEC-Amlogic.arm-9.2.0-Generic.img.gz
Got Also the file gxm_q200_2g_minix_neo_u9.dts
Finally I tried now with a USB Stick E:
I have used Rufus to create the image on the USB Stick, with the following options:
Device point to my USB Stick E:
Boot Selection: Disk or ISO image (Please Select), push the Select button and choose CoreELEC-Amlogic.arm-9.2.0-Generic.img.gz
I do not know if I have to enable other options
Push Start button
When it is done, I rename the file gxm_q200_2g_minix_neo_u9.dts to dtb.img to the root of E:
I try to boot up, but unfortunately, I see the robot on it's back with a warning sign
got the files of pusb87 on CoreElec,
then use Win32diskimager, burn my USB Stick,
then use in the device tree find the right file and rename it on the root as dtb.img
retry to reboot but stuck on the robot on it's back with a warning sign
my pen drive was corrupted another one is ok
Out of interest I just tried CoreELEC for the 1st time....simply followed the instructions provided on the CoreELEC site for downloading and installation.
All done and up and running in about 10mins on a microSD card.
I found it incredibly slow when installed on the SD card, virtually unusable in navigating menus...playback was fine though. If you install it on the main memory it will be 10x faster.
mmmmm...when i rebooted after a simple kodi set up it completely wiped out my setup and opened up on the coreELEC set up menu again. It's very reliable.
but that is not a favoured option for me as i like to use some android apps.

I don't use CoreELEC but the number of channels you have Kodi's audio set to has the same effect on multi-chan AAC in Android too. (Settings -> System -> Audio.)
If currently set to the default 2.0 try setting 5.1 or 7.1 to match your number of speakers, hopefully it'll shift the vocals back to the centre. (The number of channels you set will have NO bearing on passthrough.)
You may also need to cycle through the available options for surround or auto decoding on your AVR too.
If that doesn't resolve it, it's an issue with the latest CoreELEC.
@Skynet
I used another one.
I use the Logitech Harmony One remote to operate the minix U9.
If you EXACTLY do step by step as described in the tutorial it should work.
Handy is: When copying a line from the tutorial, you can paste it in Putty bij clicking the right mouse button. In that case you don't need to type it over and can't make mistakes.
It worked for me.
Let me know if it worked for you.
Hi guys,
This is my first attempt of using Coreelec on my MINIX U9h.
The most important things like video and music playback work fine.
But I'm having one annoying issue which I hope you guys can help me with.
When I go to the "power options menu" and select "power off system" the box doesn't shut down entirely.
My TV and receiver will shutdown but a green led keeps lid on the MINIX, like it stays in stand-by.
When I turn on the TV (after shutting down the MINIX) to watch some tv the audio passthrough to the receiver won't work.
I have to disconnect the MINIX first and reboot the TV + Receiver to let it work again.
This doesn't happen on the default Android OS and I had no audio passthrough issues with the MINIX connected.
What it basically did was fully shut down (no green led) the MINIX but not the TV + Receiver.
I'd prefer to setup CoreElec the same way so how can I achieve this?
Weird, i installed many CoreElec versions and i never had this green light.
Have you played with CE CEC options ?
