I tried TeamViewer QuickSupport and it worked.
Next I will try the full TeamViewer, maybe I can avoid having to manually start it on MINIX and then allow for remote control; ideally, it should start when powering MINIX and automatically accept connection from my PC...

Yes I agree that would be nice.
Ive seen others mention Teamviwer host is needed for this but i have never tried it.
I've installed the full TeamViewer on MINIX. However, it does not accept by itself remote control, for this it starts TeamViewer QuickSupport.
Therefore, my dream did not materialize :-(
Are there other, more flexible, remote control programs for Windows+Android ?

You may have to investigate Teamviewer host... i havent bothered....not sure it works, ive seen it mentioned previously on these forums , do a Teamviewer Host search
I suspect there are not other options unless you are prepared to pay ... i did root around a while ago with little or no success.
I didn't realize that TeemViewer Host is different from TeamViewer... I will try and report back.

Try autostart app manager for android.This was a big step
Now the last step toward my ideal: is it possible, on MINIX, to define that TeamViewer Host starts when MINIX starts??

I have simply powered my minix off and then back on again, and then connected to it succesfully using the Teamviewer program on the PC.

I know that in windows there are programs that are already in startup (autoexecute when OS boots)
In windows we can also add or remove programs from the startup. (Only with admin user, i think)
In android if i want to use a app for example - kodi i have to execute that app.
I don't know how teamviwer works in android.
I tested and it works fine , the reverse:
I installed microsoft remote desktop for android and i have full control of windows
I tested teamviewer but with two desktop win PCs.
In android we must have some similar to windows (a folder) but i never searched for it.
It may be easier for android to install a app like autostart app manager and then control what we want.
I remember now one thing:
Maybe with the device rooted we can have acess to startup..., i don't know, but i never rooted any android device and i don't want.
It is better unrooted ☺

Back in the old android devices I used to use Tasker app. It allows you to do multiple things like running a certain script or start an app at different "events". I used to program it for my parents that every time a minix was booted it turned on a radio app. At a certain time it stopped it and was opening kodi and virtually pressing a key, which started up a news channel for them when their program was starting. So it's pretty useful and I'm sure it would work to run teamviewer at start up.

Hum i understood the idea but i guess teamviewer host app must put a shortcut to android startup because if not we don't have acess.

Can you wake the device (U9-H for example) from shutdown installing teamviewer host ?
One thing i saw is one android device that have wake on lan feature ☺
I can not wake u9-h from shutdown/sleep mode with for example a wake on lan app for android or using router webbrowser. (At least the times i tested i did not make it , i did not installed more apps and for me is also more useful using wol for windows devices)
wake on lan will be a good feature for android (similar like we have on bios , N42C-4 for example ).
Or maybe is not implemented because the device is not rooted, if that is the case , for me it is fine ☺, i always like to use WOL but in windows machines.

Yes, it worked, thank you !!
I noticed that when thr TeamViewer connection is active, the MINIX's Sleep power option does not worke: MINIX returns after a few seconds, with TeamViewer connection still alive.
