Firmware upgrade detailed procedure

I’d appreciate information on the detailed steps and method to upgrade the firmware in my Neo X8-H Plus, which currently shows itself as version 4.4.2, and to re-install Kodi. Help please?
 
Hi, sorry for delay and maybe I’m just being dense. Tried to update but couldn’t even get the Minix box to be recognised via the OTG port. Is there another way to achieve what I want?

make sure the "world cup" driver installed when you installed the Burning Tool, if not uninstall and reinstall, ( if your not sure then uninstall and reinstall anyway and you should get a prompt to install the world cup drivers )
remove any other usb devices and the hdmi cable before trying
make sure that the power is off on the minix ( by removing the power plug, wait 30 secs, plug in the usb cable to minix and pc, and then plug back in the power cable ) and then press and hold the reset button and then press the power button , keep holding the reset btton for a few seconds or so ( 6-10ish) until you get the connection.
try different combinations of usb cables ( ideally the cable that came with your minix, but it has to be a "data" cable) and USB ports...it can be problematic to get a connection
and make sure you have no "security" software that may be blocking the connection
and of course make sure you are using the right firmware image for your device
