Has my SD card been adopted / merged with internal memory?

Hi, I've added a 64GB card to my NeoU9-H and followed the instructions to adopt as internal memory. Should the system show this as additional internal free space available, it's not obvious?

The SD card doesn't show now as a separate storage device so I'm not sure how the space can be used.

Ah, when I posted this it was only showing Internal storage 11 GB and USB drive Not connected. Now it's showing SD card 57GB again.

Should I eject it and try again?

Im not really sure as never felt the need to increase internal storage......why do you feel you need to do this ?

The device will only download reliably to internal storage, saving to hard drive or USB stick seems to be disabled.

I download to Micro SD set as external no problem!
Of course though it can depend whether the app being used allows this.

Which apps are you using?

Catch up TV apps and regularly downloading big video data sets that I want to keep for comparison. Even ES File Explorer refused to copy across to USB or hard drive.

I think generally its better not so set up an SD Card as Internal storage but just to use as external storage as @Villa

The U9-H is more of a media streamer than a download device. I would suggest that if you are downloading large media files that once you have them copy them over to an external sd card/HDD and delete them from internal memory.

Better still is to store all media on a NAS and then play to your U9-H via SMB or similar.

Makes sense, I tried adopting it again without success. At least it's available as external storage so I'll stick with that.

Be aware that if you already adopted it as internal storage, you may need to reformat it as external storage.
To make sure it is formatted correctly I would check it out on a PC.
