Help please, blue light not staying on

Hello all I have a Minix Neo X8-H Plus Android 4.4 TV Box 2.0Ghz Amlogic S812 Quad Core 2GB RAM box and it just stopped working. Now if I press the power button the blue light flashes for a second and goes off again. If I hold it down it flashes every 5-6 seconds. Is there anything I can do or is my box screwed?

Sounds like the PSU (power supply unit), do you have another Minix box that you could possibly try the PSU from?
 
it seems odd that the light does come on and flash if only for a second. I would have thought that if the power supply was faulty then it wouldn't light up at all. I will purchase another power supply anyway but failing that which box would I want as a replacement. I am on a bit of a budget so can't go mad. It's mainly for showbox etc if that helps
 
@Carl Prosser what you want and what you need including the price in my opinion is Neo T5 especially for 4K 10bit x265 Hevc and Android 9(Pie) and firmware updates from Minix for next year and a half.
