I mainly stream from Kodi but do download occasionally - so the kids can watch something again (and again). Also, I recently upgraded from an NEO X8-H Plus to the NEO U9-H and gifted the X8 to a friend.
When I try to download from Kodi to micro SD or USB storage on the U9 it said downloading but no files were added to the drive (path set in Kodi and downloads active).
However, I can download to internal storage (including micro SD when it is added as internal storage).
I read that the download issue is because Kodi does not have read/write access so cannot download to external drives. Is this correct?
It is not an issue for me to download files and then transfer to external drives. Just wondering if there is a simple fix.
