Minix XBMC 16.3 for those with Minix X8-H boxes is no longer suitable for new add-ons as many will not install. MyGica Mediacenter 17.1 which is a Kodi 16.0 fork and will install most of the new add-ons without issue. Minix dropped the ball on this one for not coming out with a fork for owners of their X8-H with Android 4.4.2 and lower boxes !

MINIX does not promote or encourage the use of illegal streaming services or add-ons within KODI. We would not create a fork specifically for such purposes.

Who said anything about illegal add-ons ? ...Kodi is a legal app and so is MyGica Mediacenter and 99.999% of those that bought a Minix box isn't using it for web browsing or emails either ! ...LoL

The official KODI app is legal because it contains no content whatsever.
Add-ons is an entirely different conversation.

Taken from KODI's official website:

"The official Kodi version does not contain any content whatsoever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi."
