Kodi doesn't crop the vídeo

Hi,
After update my U9-H firmware I can't zoom on Kodi properly.

Before I update I could zoom until the movie fill completelly the screen (the ends were lost) keeping the original aspect ratio. But now, when I increase the zoom it limits the horizontal edges and change the aspect ratio to fill the screen distorcing the image.

I installed kodi on my phone to check. On the phone it crops perfectly what takes me to think that there's some limitation on U9-H config...

Before we even try & get into anything else beyond....

Which firmware version did you have prior to updating? (I.e. stock ROM FW008.)

Which firmware version do you now have?

(Our once legendary psychic ESP just seems to keep waining with age !!)

A smartphone obviously has its own dedicated display & isn't connected via an HDMI cable too. Two quite different ways of doing things!
