LAN data port monitor ?

Hi folks,

I'm looking for an app to run on my Minix U9 that will monitor the data usage via the Ethernet cable connection. All the Android apps seem to monitor WiFi and mobile connections but not Ethernet. Any thoughts (other than use WiFi) - thanks

Hello.
Better than that is if you can monitor all data but in your router.
I have one second router (connected by wired to the first) with dd-wrt firmware and the device can monitor data usage.

Have you tried those apps with Faked wifi on?

Wow, thanks guys - I'll try the Fake VPN. I discovered another way to do it via Settings > Advanced Settings > Data Usage > Ethernet. This lists the usage per app but I cannot see a way to reset the usage figures.

Look at the top of the screen just under the Wi-Fi/Ethernet tabs. The data usage is divided monthly which will help you narrow down your usage. But no, it can't be reset.
