Minix T5 - Plex problems

Hello there,

My Minix T5 have a few problems, with Plex, that Xiaomi Mibox S doesn't have.

I cannot use "New Video Player", because have errors when try to play something, giving the following error "An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please try restaring both Plex Media Server and this app."

When using Earphones bluetooth, Plex doesn't start playing movie, and on youtube or other apps, have alot of lag.

We're at present not sure if it's a problem with the Plex or Android TV 9.0 or our firmware.
Our engineer is still investigating this problem, that would take a period of time.
I would currently recommend turning OFF the "Enable new video player" option.

I bought this product last week and I can't figure out how to enable Atmos passtrough. My setup is the following:
Minix T5 -> HDMI to Denon X2500H -> HDMI to TV with ARC. I downloaded a video with Atmos string from here, loaded in my NAS and played it using the media player. The audio stream is transcoded from TrueHD to EAC3 and I don't understand why. Is there a problem with the Plex client or the Minix Ultra T5 can't decode TrueHD / Atmos?

The NEO T5 does not support Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD audio.

that cant be true as all those audio formats work fine using Coreelec on the T5 ??

The device specs state that the T5 doesn't include support for the HD audio formats but clearly if using CoreELEC passthrough does appear to work for the HD audio formats at least.

So I guess the question of the day that needs clearing up once & for all about the T5 is....

...Is there a specific reason why the stock ATV firmware won't support passthrough for the HD audio formats? (Does the T5 essentially suffer from the same issues with HD audio passthrough that the U22 currently suffers from as well?)

Is it fixable as it seems to be an issue that has been danced around in the past too for want of a better phrase?

I am not able to download and install Plex off Google Play. I am using Minix Model NEO T5. I am on version Android Pie and firmware version: 9.3.16. I even tried download Plex and tried to install on Minix. But I have been unsuccessful. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Plex (Stream Movies & Live TV) can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, just tested and can be downloaded. It runs normally.
Is Plex's service scope in your area?

Yes, it is. In fact, after writing this question I tried again and it downloaded and installed successfully
