Minix u22xj benchmarks

Hello ,i would speak about the performance from the u22xj

As i know at first we see a picture from the u22xj with 2,2ghz from minix John
Then they take the performance down to 1,8ghz "for better stability"
So i look around in internet to show how ugos manage this ,i see that ugos first bring out a box with 2,2ghz ,then they bring out the same with 1,8ghz ,and now with 2,2ghz again
So i would know ,if minix bring out a 2,2 GHz update or minimum a 2 GHz update .
If not i will sugest to give the first version update from u22xj with 2,2ghz to the peopel how want it ,with warning that it is "not stable"
It could be interesting to finish this room !!
Does wee need this ? Yes and no but its a littel Bad to see that other manufacturer have resolved the "not stable problem" and its always good to have moore cpu power ,so minix have to resolved the "probleme" because is minix not so good as other manufacturer ?

I am sure you Can make more then just 1,8ghz in a stable room ?
I am in différent fb box groupe and have also a minix groupe on fb and peopel ask me why there are 400mhz x4 différence on same cpu and when update comes...

How do you know the competitors devices are stable? Because they say so? MINIX delivers quality products, I'm sure they have reasons behind this. People don't read warnings, nobody will use caution, they would just install firmware with "bigger numbers".

You have not to Say me that minix devices are stable endrjupl ?, i have 4 of them , my first the 8hplus is now a grandpa , i buy it there are a lot of years when the device is comming out (old forum)
And i have also minix groupe on Facebook .......with membres how have all différent boxes ,or members how buy minix boxes after consulting my groupe
I would have this first room ,if not finish no probleme
I want also Say that there are some smal bugs how are not resolved for thé moment on thé u22xj

Why i know that thé others are stable ?

If you don't have other devices (competitors) and no experience i advice you to don't speak about them.

Go not be "crazy" because i mention one other manufacturer one Time plz ,we are not in small children school ,and i am not a minix beginner , what is the problèm to speak about what is going on in thé market ????

Minix have not to hide compared to other manufacturer
I post on thé forum for me and i post on the forum for the members of my groupe
Because thé most of them not speak english....( French and german peopel)
I dont want make pressure on thé minix team or anything else ,just talk about the possibilitys to give the u22xj a littel bit more power , 4 x2ghz ?

You know all this starting the day how i shared on big Facebook Android box groupes my touchscreen démonstration vidéos with the u9h and the x39 and other vidéos about external sound cards on the minix boxes for recording instruments...
And now i have my self a minix groupe on fb .....

Hi Ralf, I think the only ones to give a definitive reply to you would be Minix themselves although I doubt very much that they would consider releasing firmware to the general public that could possibly do more harm than good, in the wrong hands that is.

Just out of my own interest though, do you have examples of specific applications that would benefit from having a bumped up cpu? For myself personally I find that the current setup is more than adequate but then again I am only using my U22 as a media hub, maybe some examples from your group could persuade Minix to look into it.

Before having Minix boxes, I had a MXQ 201 box, followed by a Tanix TX1 box, and they were way, WAY crappier and more unstable than the Minix X8H Plus and U1 that I subsequently bought. Basically, they would glitch and crash within 15 minutes of stress run, and that's after having installed a heatsink and drilled cooling holes to the TX1! I never had any such problems with my Minix boxes, but when I first opened my X8H Plus to make the power LED more visible, it was clear why: the box is much better built with a massive heatsink.
To be perfectly honest, I didn't have much time to use the U22-XJ as much as I was hoping due to family and work, so I can't vouch about its performance. It did get much better with FW004 though.
