Minix U9-H not working with NBC Sports App

Hi... Need help, I have 2 minix U9-h and both of them works like a charm for all my streaming needs (netflix, hulu, Bein Sports, Kodi etc) but one of the devices suddenly cant stream smoothly from the NBC sports app. the stream will stutter every 5 seconds making watching the EPL a real pain. Any idea what could cause a device that is seemingly perfect for all other apps to have a problem on just 1 app?

I have tried the basics -
1)uninstall, reinstall.
2)Reboot the device
3) factory reset

Pls help.

Hi, glad you're enjoying the U9-H & they're generally working as they should in all other regards :).

Before you get stuck in & despite the factory reset, just try clearing the system cache again. (Turn off the device, then press & hold the main power button for 6+ seconds. Use your remote to choose wipe cache & double check before pressing OK ;). Choose reboot/restart now after that. Any change or still the stuttering?

If you haven't already.... I'd also try rebooting your router & any other network hardware you're using as well before rolling your sleeves up ;)!! Sometimes it is literally that simple.

After that..... Are the installed apps & general settings identical on both boxes? Does one device have ANY additional apps that the other does or does not?

Any additional/different peripheral devices in use with one device & not the other? Is one device extremely low on space & the other plenty to spare?

You indicated that this issue "suddenly appeared" with the NBC Sports app, but only on one U9-H. The first thing I'd look at is ANYTHING that's different between the two? (Regardless of how insignificant you may consider it at this time. You'd be amazed how often just one different app or setting can affect one device but not another.).

If they're both identically configured & the same apps.....
1. Try swapping them around. (Does the device that was stuttering suddenly stop & the other that wasn't suddenly start doing it after the swap around?). If yes, that could save you a lot of time & quickly narrow things down.
2. Otherwise, test them both as closely as you possibly can to recreate identical conditions for both. Still the same after that or are you seeing anything different then?

Are the connected displays different from one to the other? (I.e. is one UHD/4K & the other FHD/1080p?)

Is one ethernet & the other WiFi? Or, is one connected via a network switch & the other directly to the router as examples?

Are you using VPN's?

Any other differences at all that you can think of, like one is connected through an AVR & the other isn't?

Do both devices have identical versions of your NBC Sports app, (it's worth double checking ;))?

If you think you've still covered everything after checking other factors already. You could try sourcing/installing the previous version of the NBC Sports app just before this suddenly started happening for you. Any change trying that?

Let us know what you've tried etc. & keep us updated :)
