-After upgrading to the new firmware edition-nougat-firmware.2107 after a long time without using the box, everything was fine.
-Next day nothing appeared after turning it on.
--Checked the HDMI cable and the TV ports, I concluded they are fine.
-Tried to reinstall the firmware. I didn't hear the USB recognition sound from Windows 10. USB_Burning_Tool doesn't either. Tried other version, same.
-I muted the keypress sound before. Can't change the resolution.
-I've followed Skynet's instruction from here. Got the 3 files. I renamed ota_target_files.zip as update.zip because it contains recovery.img. there is no a recovery.img directly in U9-H-FW008_Android_6.0-20180209-USB_Stick.zip.
-This is the funny part. After inserting the USB to the Minix box as instructed, it was flashing LED. Much later, after moving the USB like an compact radio antenna (from frustration) the home screen was displayed but the display was cropped, as if had more resolution than the TV. Later, the screen dimmed because of inactivity and turn off completely... couldn't turn it on again. WHAT'S HAPPENING?
-Lost my chance to change the resolution or resetting the Minix. Repeated the same action. Couldn't get the home screen. Holding the power button , unplugging the cord...
Was it a bad idea to update the firmware? I used a Samsung charger cable to update instead of the OTG cable.
Any ideas? Thanks.
