Today I got an ssd hard drive. Almost nothing worked anymore. After plugging it in several times, he displayed it again.
It was very slow so I thought about deleting and reformatting.
Still slow. I went into the Minitool Partitions Wizard and tagged MBR/GPT from my hard drive and rewritten it. Then I pressed the right mouse button and deleted all partitions. Don't know I felt like there might be a hidden file or partition on it? After the new formatting it was definitely working again.
Maybe something like that can solve your problem with USB SSD ???
This also worked when the PW indicated the SSD was formatted and the next time it was plugged in, Win 10 brought the message no partition available.
The data carrier does not have to be broken, it can really only be that something is on it that is not visible but blocked
