NEO U22 - no support for wireless mouse?

I was using the Minix U1 until recently. Since a week I am a NEO U22 user and I like it sofar. I am running the latest firmware and have only minor problems.
But one thing bothers me: On the U1 unit I could use an ordinary wireless mouse (in my case a Trust 2.4 Ghz mouse with an USB receiver). On the Neo U22 unit the receiver appears to be recognized after plug-in (you get a sound signal), but the mouse does not work at all.
I normally use the Minix flymouse which works fine, but for some applications (in particular when you want to scroll through webpages) the wireless mouse was much more useful.
I was wondering if anybody has come across this and if a solution/bypass is available? For example, would a bluetooth mouse work on this unit?
Thnks, Willem

I have issues if I plug in a USB memory stick (64gig) the mouse stops working on that slot and I remove it to the last remaining port and its back working .. I use Logitech M212, its only the U22 that gives me issues with port occupancy. Do you have other equipment using the ports?

I have the Minix A2 remote's receiver plugged in one of the USB ports.
But....does your Logitech M212 mouse work properly with the U22?

Yes .. and the only issue is when I need to plug in an other bit of kit it turns the port off for the mouse. The mouse I find is the best way bay far to control the Minix Android series, X8H+, U1, U9H, but not so with the Android TV NEO T5 it needs 2 points of control to hand.

I recenty bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for use with my U22 and it works like a charm. And of course this does not use a USB port.

For what it's worth, I connected a Lidl SilverCrest wireless mouse with USB receiver and it functions just fine.

MINIX NEO A3 USB receiver connected and a USB pendrive.

I read the last two posts, which made me think that a Bluetooth mouse would cure my scrolling problem, so sent her indoors out to get one. €17.50 later it made not an ounce of difference (I can't find any difference between USB receiver and Bluetooth), especially with JetAudio, which still works perfectly on my U1 (I tried it again just to make sure).

I spent most of Saturday downloading and installing every audio player I could find, none of them came close to JetAudio. Therefore I really need Minix to cure this problem, and quick.

We could have told you it would make no difference!
The problem is with the app and/or firmware coding and/or android version!
