NEO U22-XJ : Touchscreen Monitor

I have connected a touch screen monitor to the NEO U22-XJ via Hdmi and USB, but no input can be made via the touch.

Is there a specific setting for Touch Screen Monitor? Is it possible to operate the NEO U22-XJ via touchscreen monitor?

No, there's not any specific settings for the use touch screens.

I seem to recall this subject coming up previously but with my terribly unreliable memory I can't remember what was said or a definitive answer either way. Ergo, I'll let someone else pick that one up.
 
Touch screen is working on CoreELEC 9.2.3. But current Android 004FW does not. I believe MINIX team need to enable it on the firmware.
 
Hello , for the moment i have test the:
U9h and the x39, they work with touchscreen , i dont test thé u22xj because i dont have the device , but i go buy it in thé next Time ,i am sure that touchscreen Can work on it .
For the u1 - i dont know ,i dont think it work ,the u8h plus dont work with touchscreen with original firmware ( i need test with the custom firmware from the forum ?, i will test next week ).

For me the x39 is just awesome !! 2 HDMI out / 1x4k + 1x1080p ,i used it like this :
The 4k out go to TV 4k
The 1080p out go to splitter hdmi with the touchscreen (1080p) and BenQ beamer (1080p +3d) ...
But this device is normaly for industrial use and have no support on this forum...
It Can be a great solution for use multiscreens and touchscreen... its a minix device no problème with it ,like a all minix devices,work great for me i Can use store at 100% with the touchscreen--moultitouch

My setup is used as a "home jukebox" and to run the Gran Board 2 dartboard I have. I had a QBox running S905 and Android 6 that I had to root and have run a kernel to enable the touchscreen (I'm using an ELO). I wanted to upgrade the box for both speed and security reasons, and haven't found something that can do all five of the following:
  1. Reliably connect to the dartboard
  2. Send audio out of the headphone
  3. Offer current, OTA updates
  4. Have the speed to run the Gran Board app, including video
  5. Use the touchscreen
I'm loving the S922 chipset given the speed with which it runs everything (especially the animations). Unfortunately, either this nor the GT King I've purchased have had all five things I needed (GT-King couldn't connect to the board, I can't get the touchscreen to respond on this one). Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to return this one, too, unless you have some advice.

@Ralf -- I'm going to give the x39 a shot next, will let everyone know how it goes.

Hello ,a member of my Facebook minix groupe have construct dart board and searching the best device for the dart board app with touchscreen....
At the end the u9h was the best choice ,the member was happy and all works fine ....
Wee need to wait if minix put the touchscreen driver in the u22xj ,i realy Hope that they do it
So i go buy second one for use with Android....

This person have buying 2 Android boxes how not work with touchscreen ...and asking for help on Android box fb forum....the u9h work great with the dart board and the touchscreen..
Now the member is happy ?

I also use touchscreen with u9h, x39, u22xj ,i just buy New touchscreen beetronic 10* for integrate in table ,minix fixed with vesa Mount minix m-83 on the rear from touchscreen (vesa 75x75 + 100x100),connected to hdmi splitter 4k- TV/BenQ beamer, touchscreen.. work great !!!
On the u22xj i install coreelec how works also fine with touchscreen ,connected to hdmi splitter..works great !!
HDMI splitter with 2 inputs and 4 outputs
Input 1 x39 Android
Input 2 u22xj coreelec
Output 1 touchscreen 1080p
Output 2 TV 4k
Output 3 BenQ beamer 1080p
So the two minix boxes work on same touchscreen and i have juste to put on thé TV or the beamer ...or all at the same Time ... Cool to remote all with touchscreen , coreelec, Android,lights in room....+voice control...

In other room i have the u9h connected to 22*touchscreen 1080p ,works great

Option called édit on HDMI splitter give the possibilitis to have différents résolution outputs from splitter ,so you Can for exemple send 4k with minix in thé splitter and have this in 4k on tv and 1080p on beamer, touchscreen.....at the same Time

Hi Ralf, I am new here and also need a touch screen to work. I have a u9h and followed your instruction to use the android 6 firmware. It works! However, the apps I need are not supported in that Android version. I also have the U22xj with latest firmware upgrade, but touchscreen does not work. But you are using the touchscreen with the U22 XJ? or you use the U9h in combination? Please explain? I am not a good IT guy...
Do you know if minix with windows support touch screen functionality?thnx!

I use the u22xj with coreelec on thé touchscreen .waiting that minix bring out android room with touchscreen driver ,we need to wait ,i am sure they make it ,there are a lot of peopel how have choice minix u9h...for the touchscreen compatibility in the past ,it Can be used in digital signage or at home....things like this make the différence to other box manufacturer....for the moment with 4 différents minix boxes at home they always make thé right choice for thé consumer ,thats why i Always buy minix boxes ,and also open french minix comunity on fb (250 members now)

Windows pc/box work normaly with touchscreen ..

I Know notrui ,wee have all custom rooms for all minix boxes on our fb forum ,thanks you ?
We have section for every box...(picture)

I dont try the rooms , Android tv rooms dont work with touchscreen ...i wait that minix put the same driver from the last u9h room in the u22xj then it was ?
