Not sure if I’m posting this right. Just bought this box after horror show with Beelink King Pro. Power settings don’t work right. If I set it to sleep, it’s fine . if i set it to restart or power off, it won’t start again. I have to use the reset hole and unplug a few times. Don’t know if this is software or hardware problem. Other than that, much better experience than with Beelink.

We need a bit more info from you to try and help. First up, can you confirm you are on FW V004 and please advise what remote are you using to try and power up.
I assume you are talking about the settings under "Power-key Definition" and if so then your device is not acting normal. I am a little confused as to why you would use the reset button, this is not clear and "unplug" could you clarify if is this the power cord or HDMI cable you are talking about?
When you set "Power-key Definition" to "Shutdown" and you hit the power button on the remote do you get the screen stating "Shutting down"?
Once powered off and you hit the power button on the remote do you see the blue LED light up in front of the U22?

Yes, it’s the latest update. As soon as I got the box I did over the air update. Yes power key definitions. I used reset button because I could not get it to start up. I see a minix logo, then it just hangs and go‘s back to black screen. It was the power plug I pulled and reinstalled. If I use shutdown display shows shutting down. When I hit power button on remote...nothing ,no light on unit. When I press power button on box, light on box lights up but nothing happens on screen.

What remote are you using? Is it the stock remote that comes with the box or something else?
Just to eliminate all possibilities please could you try with the stock remote, this way we can be sure it is not the A3 that is dodgy.
Ok, so it could be the A3 that is dodgy, test a bit more just to make sure and then if confirmed request an exchange under waranty. The no signal thing is something that a few of us have been experiencing on FW V004 unfortunately, we will have to wait for a fix from Minix.
Ok then we have to admit that the U22 is the culprit, I know it is not ideal but I am afraid a factory reset is the next step, bear in mind you will lose everything. If that does not cure it then a full flash is next on the cards.....
Yes, I have the Samsung 65Q70R and have had this radomly occur since FW V004

just to add some clarity , or maybe confusion, my U22 on firmware 004 does not power up using the power button on either the stock remote or an A3 backlit, but does using an A2ite.
Also, if the power light does show blue, but the screen is blank , you may be suffering from the HDMI issue reported in the bugtracker thread.Work arounds include hotplugging the hdmi lead, turning an AVR off and on again, or maybe changing source inputs on your TV or turming TV off and on again.

Thanks, what is avr ? Works in sleep mode but not shutdown or restart modes. Like box, but this issue is kind of annoying. I'm coming from Fire Cube. Bought a Beelink Gt King Pro. Ethernet didn’t work, Bluetooth no good, no 5g WiFi. Bought this box and most everything seems ok. Just this one issue so far.
Interesting, I can power down and up with the A3, A3 Backlit (more than one click though) and the A2 Lite, stock remote that came with the U22 can power down but does not power up, and now for the best part, the stock remote from my T5 can power down and up
The only one I have not tested is the A2 Lite Backlit.Audio Video Receiver.
